About
the Builder and Luxury Homes

I founded Luxury Homes in 2004. I worked in the construction business with my family and have grown up around it my whole life. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2002 with a degree in Finance and real estate. During and after college, I managed projects for my family in Northern Colorado and grasped the concepts of how to run and manage the construction of a home.  With my knowledge I gained through CSU, my hands on experience in the field, and my love for architectural design, I started Luxury Homes of Northern Colorado.  I currently design and build my own homes/Models that integrate the needs and wants of the consumer today. Building and perfecting my own home, which I have built many times, has put me in the shoes of a current home buyer and what one would want and expect to find in a home.

Within my model homes, changing or modifying an existing plan is very acceptable. I currently have clients that have done major changes such as adding bonus rooms above garages, to attached dog kennels with kennel runs, to small changes such as outlets based on their layouts of rooms, or whatever the need may be. These changes are typically made at the cost of materials and labor and not some super imposed inflated price, which almost most builders add.  I love working with the client to give them what they want!

Being sole employee of the company has huge benefits to you as the end consumer.  As we begin finding out your needs and wants, we will tailor fit a floor plan that is right to you and your family. This process is beneficial to you because you are working directly with the architect so we do not have to send you revised notes and comments off to an architect for update and revision.  This saves time and money and information is not lost through translation. Also I manage and visit your job site directly. Most companies have what’s called a “superintendent” which also leaves room for loss of information.  The superintendent has to be compensated for his time during the typical six-month process. Most companies also have office personnel, overhead, vehicles, tools etc to run a business. I do not have any of these other areas to compensate thus passing on the savings directly to you, which in the end can add a hefty price to the final cost of your home. I believe in giving the customer what they want at prices that the competition cannot compete with while offering innovative smart designs and concepts that are unique to you!

My typical construction process gives you the opportunity to see and review all invoices that are paid out on your home so you know what you are getting and for what price and all fees associated with the final cost of your home to you!

I look forward to working and sharing with you on this fun and exciting moment in your lives it is and will be a good experience!

Sincerely,

Matt Tschetter
President of Luxury Homes of Northern Colorado
